Wings of sand tells the tale of Teraman and the numerous important (and not so important) characters that once lived (or unlived) in there. The style focuses on the epic, aiming to create an atmosphere of greatness.
A few words.
Hey all.
First of all I'm happy that I came across this website. I was thinking of uploading my webcomic on a blogspot 'cause I didn't know any other hosting but that would have been obviously an odd way of viewing a webcomic, so anyway. Here I am, at last, posting the first strips of Wing of Sands.
I must tell anyway that this is not one of my "highest" priorities, at least for the moment. And besides I have other things to do (working, studying, playing smash over kaillera ;) ) so the updates might be... 1 per week or so. Depends mostly of time and mood, anyway.
Wings of Sand, as the Description says, tells the tale of a world I made up. It is the home of many numerous characters I (and friends) have created and developed over time. Not only in our minds, but also in games (Many of them, if not all, we're characters we used when we played Neverwinter Nights. Or on pnp roleplaying games). I first thought making a humorous webcomic, but then again I like the feeling that only epic storytelling can give. And besides, the stories and the events that takes place in Teraman NEED an epic atmosphere. (Plus it's the fact that there are so many funny webcomics out there. And I would barely keep up with them if I tried)
So that's about it. There will be funny moments anyway (At least, that's what I hope. I don't know still if I'm funny anyway) but this webcomic is epic oriented in general terms. I recommend Oots or CAD if you are looking for great plotlines and jokes.
Oh, and one last thing. I find rather difficult to... keep this webcomic free of my personal tastes. I mean, it's a way of expression anyway. And, maybe, from time to time, I will make references to other popular bands/webcomics/things. I hope that doesn't ruin the story or the webcomic. (For instance, I'm a BIG fan of super smash bros. And I wanted to introduce every epic character in a brawlish way. You know, the one with the freeze and the "NEWCOMER!" tag below.) So don't take this things as rip-offs or something. They're just tributes to things that I consider to be great.
And that's about it! hope you enjoy Wings of Sand as much as I do making it. You can leave comments on each strip. If your comment is a congratulations or something like that, Thanks!. If your comment is a criticism, I will read it ONLY if it's constructive. I'm aware that my webcomic has many flaws in it, though I'm not aware of their exact nature (If I did, I would have fixed them in the first place right?) and I would appreciate any kind of critics(with solid arguments) that pointed them out (And, hopefully, a way of fixing them).
You can rate the strips only if you are a registered member in smackjeeves. I encourage you to do so for I would like to know what everyone thinks of each strip, and that rating will clear things out in a very simple yet effective way.

pd: I'm chilean, by the way. I'm not native english speaker, so if there are some tipyng/grammar mistakes in this news or strips, I apoligize and please point them out so I can improve =) Thanks!
